Writing Tips

Ugh! Query Letters and Synopsis… Most writers will probably agree that this is the most difficult and dreaded part of writing a book. How do you pack 300 plus pages into a one, maybe two sentence elevator pitch? Or condense an entire novel into four, but no more than five, you’ve-gotta-read-me pages? It’s painful, but it can be done.

Writing Synopsis and Query Letters is an art. It takes time, practice, and a lot of patience and even more rewrites. 🙂 I’ve attached links to sample letters I found online that I thought were very helpful when writing my own query and synopsis, as well as a link to query critiques. Hey, why not learn from other people’s mistakes? Good luck!
